The project forms part of the Wellcome Genome Campus expansion, establishing the architectural and experiential gateway to a globally significant centre for genomics, biodata, health innovation and translational research. The development supports the continued expansion of the Campus through new research, collaboration and translation environments, while strengthening connectivity, identity and the arrival experience across the wider estate.

3pm provides Employer’s Agent services, administering the JCT Design & Build Contract and leading the management of risk, governance, stakeholder engagement and change control throughout delivery. Drawing on more than a decade of experience supporting the Campus, 3pm helps translate Wellcome’s long-term estate ambitions into a deliverable project while maintaining alignment with scientific requirements, operational priorities and the wider campus investment programme.

The project is being delivered within a live, mission-critical science estate alongside multiple adjacent development parcels and infrastructure projects currently under design/construction. This requires careful coordination of programme, construction and operational interfaces across the wider Campus, whilst maintaining continuity of research activities, campus services and critical infrastructure. Through proactive management of contractual, commercial and technical matters, 3pm supports the client team in maintaining programme certainty, managing project risks and driving informed decision-making across the wider consultant and contractor team. Parcel D will provide a flagship life sciences facility that supports future innovation, collaboration and growth across the expanding Wellcome Genome Campus.
