Enhancing the Premium Match-Day Experience at the Home of England Rugby
The Hospitality Boxes Refurbishment project involved the refurbishment and upgrade of hospitality boxes at Twickenham Stadium, improving the quality, functionality and consistency of the RFU’s premium match-day accommodation. The works formed part of the wider investment in maintaining the stadium as a world-class sporting and entertainment venue, providing high-quality private spaces for corporate guests, sponsors and other key stakeholders.

The project included the renewal of interior finishes, furniture, lighting and integrated audio-visual facilities, together with associated improvements to building services and supporting circulation areas. The upgraded boxes were designed to provide flexible settings for dining, entertaining and business use, while retaining direct views and convenient access to the stadium seating bowl.

Delivery required careful coordination within a live, operational stadium. Works were planned around the RFU’s fixed international rugby and events calendar, with each area required to be completed, tested and presented to the necessary standard before the next match-day deadline. This placed particular emphasis on programme control, design approvals, procurement lead times, stakeholder coordination and the management of interfaces with existing stadium systems.

Through a tightly managed refurbishment programme, the project enhanced the guest experience while protecting ongoing stadium operations and commercial activity. The completed hospitality boxes provide modern, durable and adaptable environments that support the RFU’s premium hospitality offer and reinforce the status of Twickenham as the home of England Rugby.
