After receiving a Bachelor’s in Engineering and Management from the University of Exeter, Laurance made the decision to move into project management as this was well suited to his problem solving and his enjoyment of working with people. He moved straight into working on some of the most prestigious construction jobs in London as a sub-contractor in the lift industry, which taught him how to work in a high pressure environment early in his career.

He made the move to 3pm in 2022 and has worked with award winning design teams and engineers from across the construction industry on schemes all across the life science community, from smaller fit out projects to complex science parks.

Laurance is process driven and pushes his teams to work to deadlines. He instigates processes that ensure project communication and information transfer occurs constantly preventing breakdowns between team members. He also works well with a versatile group of people as a result of growing up in international communities.
